Radical Change Series: Intro

Today’s blog is merely a header and starting point for some things I want to put out there. Future episodes will elaborate on both what I mean by radical change and how we can stir ourselves in its path. The reason for choosing not to write “bring it about” will be addressed. Here, I just want to stress that I didn’t say “sit it out and wait for it” either. Because the latter is what the vast majority of humans is doing right now, and I am including myself here.

If you are reading this, you are already aware that radical change is what is needed to ensure the long-term survival of our own species and countless others that are already in the process of becoming extinct. The collective asking for radical change is immense and can be felt by anybody the least bit sensitive. Equally, everybody can see that it is already in process on many levels and in many forms, but, alas, mostly not in the form that we would have liked to manifest at all. You have to be honest with yourself here and face the feeling of powerlessness that this brings up in literally every physical human. It is what we share on a global level. What differs are really just the reactions to this powerlessness. The urge for control and security is rampant and is focussed purely on its opposites and their avoidance, thereby creating more powerlessness on a daily basis. Who could want this? Where is it all going? Are questions pestering the minds of the discerning, birthing the urge to control the outcome. And this is really where the problem started a long, long time ago …

This is the first pill to swallow here: radical change cannot be conceived, developed and birthed in fear, unless you want its outcome to be fear. Remember that fear is the opposite of love.

The second is that you cannot birth radical change ignoring, suppressing or diminishing fear that is quite palpably there, be it in yourself or others or the collective. We are literally all one. Ignoring that fear, is practised abuse on any and all levels of relationships, be it with yourself, another person, a group of people or the planet.

The third is that radical change has to start from the bottom up and the inside out. You can apply this to absolutely everything. It’s a natural principle of physical reality on this planet.

The good news: you are that bottom … well, one of them, and I am not suggesting that you are the arse of creation, though you might be feeling like it a lot of the time these days. :)

You are where new growth starts.

You are the radical change that is unstoppable.
